Kris Canfield leads fundraising, donor engagement, and resource development efforts to advance United Way of Tarrant County's mission. A seasoned nonprofit leader with nearly 15 years of experience in development and marketing, she has a proven track record of increasing donor engagement, securing major gifts, and building strategic partnerships that drive community impact. Before joining UWTC, she served as Chief Development Officer at the Center for Transforming Lives and held leadership roles at Girls Inc. of Tarrant County. A past Fort Worth 40 Under 40 and Great Women of Texas honoree, she serves on the executive board for the YMCA of Metropolitan Fort Worth and Artes de la Rosa.
Breinn Richter

Breinn Richter is the Executive Director of SiNaCa Studios, a nonprofit glass arts school and gallery in Fort Worth. She brings a strong background in nonprofit strategy, board governance, organizational development, and leadership coaching, with experience supporting boards and executive leaders through strategic planning and governance best practices. In addition to her nonprofit leadership work, Breinn teaches in the business school at TCU and consults with organizations on management, HR development, and organizational change. She holds an MBA and is ABD in a PhD program focused on leadership and organizational development.

Chris Butler is a nonprofit executive with more than 30 years of experience leading mission-driven organizations and strengthening communities through collaboration, advocacy, and strategic leadership. As President & CEO of The Parenting Center, Chris focuses on expanding access to family support services, parenting education, and prevention programs that help families thrive. Throughout his career, Chris has been actively involved in board service including Finance Chair roles on Chamber of Commerce boards and currently serves on the boards of Camp Fire and Cancer Cares Services. He is a proud LeadingEdge Class of 2025 alumnus.

Nekisha Henry serves as Chief Mission Delivery Officer for Girl Scouts of Texas Oklahoma Plains, providing strategic leadership for product program, recruitment, volunteer engagement, and girl experience initiatives. She led GSTOP through the development of a comprehensive three-year strategic plan and previously served as Senior Director of Membership and Girl Experience for Girl Scouts of Northeastern New York. Her career spans leadership roles in higher education, athletics, nonprofit management, and community outreach. She currently serves as Board President of the Northwest ISD Special Education Parent Advisory Council.

Erma Lee brings more than 25 years of experience in healthcare compliance and business ethics, with a strong record of implementing compliance programs for hospitals and large physician groups. She holds degrees in business administration and certifications in healthcare compliance and privacy. She has served on the boards of Lena Pope, Chapel Hill Academy, Camp Fire First Texas, Young Women's Leadership Academy, Justin's Place, MultiCultural Alliance, and Opening Doors for Women in Need. Erma is also a retired US Army Reserve officer with 29 years of service and a former marathoner.

Anthony Placencio is a Certified Public Accountant and Partner at RSM US LLP, serving as Texas Health Care Leader and Fort Worth Audit Leader. With more than 20 years of experience in public accounting, he has served major health systems, life sciences companies, and private equity-backed organizations. He currently serves on the boards of Leadership Fort Worth, the HFMA Lone Star Chapter, and the TCU Neeley School of Business Accounting Advisory Board. He also serves as Board Chair of BoardBuild, an organization focused on connecting emerging leaders with meaningful board opportunities, giving him a distinctive lens on both sides of the board recruitment conversation.
